The location of facade membrane.
The section perspective of staircase area.
Double Facade
The double facade with facade membrane modules can prevent the shadow casting. The soft natural sunlight passes through the facade membrane to lower down the interior temperature and created relaxing atmosphere. The sunlight can also give sunlight to the vegetation wall for photosynthesis. Besides, the hot air in staircase area can pass out through the double facade as a chimney.

The vegetation wall provided certain level of privacy.
Vegetation Wall
The vegetation wall is located between interior and exterior, for example the house and staircase area, the shop interior and back alley. The vegetation wall and double facade works together and provided cross-ventilation to houses and staircase area. For privacy, the height of vegetation wall is set below the eye-level (150mm ), the house owner can close the sliding partition if they want full privacy.
